Are you looking to install 1979-1985 Toyota Pickup/4runner axles into your samurai? Look no further this kit allows you to install a Toyota axle in your samurai with little bit of work. There is some cutting and grinding involved. You will need to remove the driver side axle perch along with the anti wrap bar welded on the front housing.
When ordering make sure you pick the right year axle. 1979-83 will take round u bolts on the driver-side due to not having the longer lower truss. 1984-85 axles will take the square u bolts due to the longer lower truss.
I designed the passenger side plate with locating tabs to help locate the position of the plate on the factory passenger side axle perch.
I do plan to do a YouTube video on my channel here in the future to show you how easy it is to install a Toyota axle.
This is a spoa kit. I do plan to come up with a way to do a spua just might take some time to figure all that out.
You will need to weld the plate on the factory passenger side axle perch along with welding on the new driver-side perch.
kit comes with all necessary hardware to install.
passenger side plates are 3/8 thick metal. Riverside perch an u bolt plate is 1/4 metal. All cnc laser cutted.
